Davian Grant, 3rd Eye F.C.’s creative midfielder, grew up in Jamaica where she honed her silky skills playing with boys in both Harbour View and Mountain View. Harbour view is noted for producing players like Ricardo ‘Bibi” Gardener and the town has a strong team that also bears its name.
Davian loves soccer dearly and aspires to become a professional player. She is skillful on the ball and as a winger gets by players rather easily. She notes that her most memorable moment as a player was her first cup win, with Busy Bees in the inaugural Hartford Lioness League on the grounds of the University of Hartford. A true entertainer, one would often hear the crowd moan and jeer her coaches whenever she is substituted; a true crowd favorite.

“When I hear career goals I immediately think Biology. It’s not that I really like it, it’s a subject that comes to me naturally so I use it to help in other areas.” Davian aspires to be a Marine Biologist and desires to serve her adopted country, The Unites States of America in the army. “I believe that I should be able to protect my loved ones and my home.”

“I started writing a book today about my depression. I believe that it can help people like me who don’t talk a lot to have a way to express themselves and deal with depression.”
